Finding your style in any creative form is probably one of the hardest things you can do — and for a long time I got down on myself because I was always comparing my work to everyone else's. It wasn't until I stopped doing that and just started shooting what felt true to me that everything changed. This image is from that period. It's one of the first frames where I look at it and think, yeah, that's mine.
