There's a moment just before a sunset fully arrives where the sky starts doing something you can't quite believe — and this was one of those moments. The colours came in soft and then went vivid and I was in the water the whole time just watching it unfold. Painting Sunsets is about that feeling of being present for something the world only does once, in exactly that way, and never again.

About this print

Printed on hand-selected fine art paper using 100-year archival pigment inks, each piece in this edition is built to last generations, not just years. The paper is chosen for each image individually, selected for how it holds light, depth, and tone rather than defaulting to a single stock.

This is a Limited Edition of 7. One of only seven prints ever made at this size, worldwide. Once the edition is sold, it is gone permanently.
