People In Motion XI

Snapper Rocks is one of my favourite spots to photograph when the waves are big and powerful — it's where everything gets tested, surfers and ocean both. There's a raw energy at that break on a heavy day that I've never found anywhere else, and this frame captures exactly that. The scale of it, the commitment required to be there, the way the wave just takes over everything in the frame. This is Snapper at its best.
