It's crazy to think that this photo was taken over three years ago. It was one of the first images I created with a professional camera, and it helped define my creative outlook. I used a Nikon D750 with a 70-200 f 2.8 lens, and this focal length is still one of my favorites. To this day, I continue to create with a 135mm lens, focusing on the finer details and using compression to create impactful images.

Since taking this photo, I have taken over 500,000+ images, broken a camera from overuse, gotten a water housing to shoot in the ocean, upgraded cameras, and worked with incredible people. I have also developed a style of imagery that allows me to express myself and be vulnerable, creating images that make you think and look twice.

Pursuing my dreams of being a creative and visual communicator has been a journey with many ups and downs. There is never a single moment that defines who you are, but a collection of experiences, decisions, and emotions that shape your journey. There is no endpoint or finish line, and it's a way of life that allows you to express yourself in line with your values and beliefs.

I could talk for hours about what I have achieved over the past few years, but for now, I will leave you with this. Along any journey, you will have many ups and downs, and it's important to remember to enjoy the present moment. Where you are right now is where you are meant to be, and it's a part of your journey that will help shape who you become.
